'Spring (Part 1)' was the first of two improvisations recorded at the Culture Palace in Enfield Town, London, England on Saturday 30th April 2022. It represents the first release by the current line up of The Engine Room where we welcome the formidable John Jobaggy on drums and synth. John has been a friend of ours for many years and we are thrilled to have him on board. Gary Jeff (bass) and myself complete the trio that recorded this session in front of a live audience. We think 'Spring' is an appropriate title for this piece given both its musical sentiment and the occasion of its recording. It is a celebration of birth and rebirth - cosmic water music, aural painting, frame it how you like but we hope you enjoy the trip. Embrace the Cosmic Singularity.
